Glastonbury Calling 2017 - The Bad Cowboys

Live review of the set at The Hawthorns for Glastonbury Calling 2017

Live Review – The Bad Cowboys at Glastonbury Calling 2017

bad cowboys at glastonbury callingThe Bad Cowboys never fail to entertain with their eclectic mix of clever lyrics and harmonic catchy tunes but their new line up introducing Will Southcote-Want on the accordion gives their music a whole different dimension. Delivering a cracking set, including my personal favourite, ‘Street’, and other classics including John’s witty tale about ‘Driving to Chelmsford’, they turn mundane everyday issues into earworms, with their perfect harmonies and upbeat guitar riffs.

Will’s accordion drove the music along nicely and Steve multi-tasked on several songs, including numerous percussion bits on ‘Big Red’ which had us all stomping our feet.
